Liaoning Luhua Hongjin New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. is located in the Fine Chemical Industry Park of Panjin City, Liaoning Province. The company possesses a number of core technologies with independent intellectual property rights. Relying on the upstream raw material advantages of Huajin Group and Beihua Luhua, it produces cycloolefin copolymer (COC), norbornene (NBE), isoprene rubber Latex (IR Latex), and petroleum resin emulsion.
The first phase of the project is a demonstration project for the industrialization of high-performance waterborne polymer emulsions, cycloolefin copolymers (COC) and their key monomer norbornene (NBE), with an annual output of 2,000 tons of isoprene rubber latex, 500 tons of waterborne petroleum resin emulsion, 1,000 tons of cycloolefin copolymers (COC) and 1,000 tons of norbornene (NBE).
After the completion of the first-phase demonstration project, the second phase will build a 10,000-ton-per-year isoprene rubber latex production facility and a 10,000-ton-per-year cycloolefin copolymer production facility.
Cycloolefin copolymers (COC) are mainly widely used in fields such as optics, medical care, electronics and packaging, for example, HUD curved screen components, VR glasses, pre-filled syringes, electronic communication and easy-tear films, beverage label films, etc. Isoprene rubber latex is used in latex-impregnated products, such as medical gloves, condoms, medical self-adhesive bandages, catheters, etc.
