(1) Cycloolefin polymer packaging film
The field of packaging is the fastest growing field of COC materials. Due to the excellent compatibility with polyethylene and other common polyolefins, can be compatible in any ratio, COC materials are used and common polyethylene, polypropylene and other blending, multi-layer composite to prepare puncture-resistant packaging materials.
(2) Cycloolefin polymer optical materials
Compared with other transparent, amorphous plastics, COC materials have low haze and high light transmittance, which are the excellent characteristics required for optical components with high requirements on weight, durability and cost.
(3) Cycloolefin polymer medical materials
COC material has high purity, excellent biocompatibility compared with PMMA, PC and other materials, and low content of dissolved substances and impurities. The COC material has a lower density than glass and is particularly suitable for use in blood storage, test tubes, petri dishes, syringes and other medical instruments. In recent years, COC materials have been considered as a substitute for glass and PC, both in biochemical analysis and clinical testing.
